What sets Project Downtown apart, both historically and presently, is the compassionate emotional backing offered by its dedicated volunteers. Beyond just nourishing and supplying daily necessities to the less fortunate, PD fosters personal connections through meaningful conversations. What’s remarkable is that the commitment of these volunteers isn’t tied to any mandatory readings or sermons. Remarkably, for over twenty-five years, these volunteers have continued their weekly engagement with Project Downtown.
